Album Preview: "Some Nights" by fun.
New release by one of my favorite indie pop acts - fun, Some Nights is a treat featuring pounding marching-beat drums, delirious lyrics and exhibition of a vast vocal range by Nate Ruess.
It features the hit single We Are Young featuring Janelle Monae, which was also featured on Glee. The band was influenced by Kanye West and hip-hop, influences of which are pretty apparent, but not altogether overwhelming in many of the tracks on this album.
